Facial Cleansers in my bathroom now~

I have been using these cleansers for the past one year (at least for some), decided to do a review on them today ^^....

Neaclear Liquid Oxygen Acne Wash (177ml)

The Neaclear Liquid Oxygen Acne Wash is targeted for oily & troubled skin, containing BHA (beta hydroxy acid) to cleanse your pores and remove excess dirt and oil as well as salicylic acid to condition your skin. It also contains aloe vera extracts to soothe as well as multiple essential vitamins for the skin...

'This new product is enhanced with Vitamins A & D (to replenish these nutrients which are lost to the harsh and sometimes toxic conditions we expose our skin to everyday), Vitamin C & E (two of the most effective anti-aging treatments for your skin) and Aloe Vera (to soothe your skin while you use). Vitamin A aids in cell function and keeps the skin healthy, clear and infection resistant. Vitamin D helps to protect the cellular membrane from free radical damage. Vitamin C inhibits sun damage caused by harmful UVA and UVB rays. Vitamin C is also photo-protective, especially when used in conjunction with a broad-based sun block. Vitamin E is considered to be the most important oil soluble vitamin and free radical scavenger. A moisturizing base of pure food-grade aloe vera assists in soothing irritated skin. '....taken from ulta.com

The Neaclear Liquid Oxygen Acne Wash cleanser is like a cheaper alternative to Dermalogica Ultracalm Cleanser (see below), it cleanses the skin without drying it out. Despite all the acids involved (salicylic acid and BHA) this cleanser is pretty mild, even though it is geared towards oily troubled skin, i would not be surprised if individuals with dry sensitive skin can use this as well. To make it even better, they claim that this cleanser is soap-free, oil-free, dye-free, fragrance-free and alcohol-free to treat the skin without irritating it or drying it out.

The Neaclear Liquid Oxygen Acne Wash is a mild cleanser, please do not use it to remove make-up, beacause...it will not.....Do use a make-up remover prior to using this cleanser  to avoid disappointment ^^.

Been using it for almost three years, i would really recommend this any skin type individuals. It helped me tide over my teen acne period ( i had a really really bad case..-.-"), and i'm still using it even after my face has cleared. I managed to escape from my teen acne with only few large pores and no acne scars!!  For those  that can get their hands on it (have people connections in USA?).... GET IT!! Because it is not easily available in Singapore, and the price tag is not heavy...at all....just USD8+!!

The FaceShop Herb Day Cleansing Foam : Acerola (170ml)

The Faceshop Herb Day Cleansing Foam is your average drugstore standard foam cleanser, there are many flavors to choose from and each provides different functions. I bought three tubes for SGD 15.50, Lemon for sebum control, Acerola for whitening, Aloe Vera for hydration. Quite a buy actually, just SGD5.20 for a tube of 170ml, each tube lasted me a month. However, for such a price tag, don't expect any miracle from these tubes, i highly doubt that any of those functions would be significant (don't really see much whitening or fell much hydration). This cleanser would be great if your're on a budget, looking for something that have a fruity floral scent, foams and cleans your skin with a squeaky after-feeling.

Would i repurchase it? Maybe not? unless i'm out of cleanser and on a budget.

Dermalogica Ultracalming Cleanser for Face & Eyes (500ml)

The Dermalogica Ultracalming Cleanser is a gel-cream textured cleanser, with no artificial fragrance or color. It is designed for environmentally-sensitized skin, individuals with sensitive skin can consider using this ^^. Containing lavender, echinacea and raspberry extracts for their calming properties, it claims to combat skin sensitivity caused by exposure to harsh climates, stress, cosmetic products, hormonal imbalance and other environmental influences. Due to its mild cleansing nature, leaving no irritating residues, you can even remove it using dry cotton pads.

I usually use this after a make-up removing cleanser or harsher cleanser like Herb Day Cleansing Foam to avoid that 'skin-tightening' feeling or whenever i had a sunburn or before my period when my skin gets really irritable. FYI, this cleanser does not foam and after rinsing, there isn't that clean squeaky feeling, suitable for people who avoids foam cleansers. I would really recommend this cleanser as a second-step cleanser...lols....This cleanser is really like a mini all-cure, suitable for all types of skin, given that it also cares for hormonal imbalance and stress!!

Since this is a gentle cleanser, do not use it as a make-up remover because it will leave traces of make-up, but i would recommend using this after your make-up remover cleanser to soothe your skin after the influence of cosmetic products and harsh cleanser.

Price-wise.... i'm not going to blatantly say that this cleanser is a budget buy, it'll cost at least SGD110+ from Dermalogica Counter in Singapore or you can get it at SGD78 from here. I got mine from a relative in USA, so slightly cheaper ^^. But one 500ml can last me around half a year, so it's actually just SGD12+ per month for a really usable cleanser!!

Sorry about the long post, but i hope it helps and thanks for reading ^^
